Software and Accessories 


OptoSurf is provided with software for calculating the roughness value Aq and conversion to DIN ENISO values Ra, Rz or Rdq.  It also provides graphical representation of the mean value of Aq, input of limit values and statistical process analysis.  All data is stored against batch numbers in a SQL data base.  The software also allows printing of reports and export of graphics and text.

Optional software modules are also available for the absolute measurement and calculation of roundness and waviness according to DIN EN ISO standards plus multi-operational sensors allowing the operator to see data from each station or a summary of all stations in one chart.

A control card providing four opto-coupled inputs and four relay outputs may be used to provide go/no go signals which may be used to remove product from the line which exceeds the set limits.

Measurement of the form of cylindrical parts, such as ball joints or piston rods, requires a highly accurate rotary stage.  OptoSurf offers a suitable product for this purpose, the RT1.
