Alastair Sharp, Managing Director, is a Chartered Engineer with over 30 years' experience in electronics. He has designed products ranging from microwave radio links through telecommunications test instruments to process control instrumentation. His achievements in manufacturing cover SMT introduction, fast new product launch, test optimisation, subcontractor management and continuous flow manufacturing including JIT and TQM introduction.

Kevin Johnston, Sales Engineer, apprenticed in radar systems test before moving to flight simulation systems as a test and installation engineer, then to X-Ray based radiotherapy systems installation. Later moved to installation and support of IBM/Lotus email and groupware systems with administration and database development accreditation. These assorted roles provided experience of producing and using test specifications to ISO and MilSpec standards, quality control processes for both hardware and software lifecycles and the integration of compliance requirements in working practices.

Ben Hopkin, based in Gloucestershire, joined Systegration in November 2007 to provide a service engineering function, replacing John Worhtington, who emigrated to Australia,after working for Systegration since 2001.   After leaving school, Ben completed a full Electrical Apprenticeship with an M&E company. He has worked in all aspects of the Electrical Industry, and is a member ot the National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers (NAPIT). Ben recently completed a full training course on servicing Yxlon (formerly feinfocus) systems at the factory in Germany.
Peter Grundy
Alan Gardner worked for Hewlett-Packard for over 30 years. Initially working in Manufacturing, his key roles were the development of manufacturing test processes and the day-to-day management of test technicians and engineers building state-of-the-art computers and communications test equipment. He moved to Marketing/Sales in the early 1980s initially in a Product Management role. Latterly he was Sales Development Manager then European Sales Manager with responsibility for a range of products from stand-alone test equipment to large manufacturing functional test systems. He joined Systegration in August 2001 as Area Sales Manager for Scotland and much of Northern England.

Robin Abrey, the Company's first Sales Director, retired from active involvement at the end of September 2005, and now acts as a Consultant to the company.   He remains a Director.

Peter Grundy started out in the automotive industry with Smiths Industries in areas as diverse as IT to die casting.   With a career spanning over 26 years in electronics, he has an extensive background in sales and marketing of capital equipment including CNC machine tools (KTM), PCB drilling equipment (Excellon Automation) and component placement equipment (Excellon and Siemens), and was product manager for DEK Printing Machines’ 265 group of machines.   He  joined Systegration as a Sales Associate in September 2003.
